Apprenticeship Success

Business Administration Apprentice Kathy Potter was awarded for Outstanding Achievement at the New Charter Awards Evening. Kathy’s exceptional efforts and progress was recognised by the organisation when they thanked her for her hard work and dedication. Kathy said “I was very proud when I received the award, I really enjoy my Apprenticeship and I would like to thank everyone at New Charter and Tameside College for their continued support.”

New Charter and Tameside College have a long standing relationship and many students are undertaking an Apprenticeship with them. The award was presented to Kathy; by Cllr Ged Cooney (Chair of New Charters Trust Board) and Martin Frost (Group Director of Finance & Deputy Chief Executive for New Charter).

Kathy’s Assessor Karen Smeaton said "Kathy worked very hard from the beginning; I am very pleased with her progress. She really deserves the award."
